Reading a Listing Before You Buy

Because a DIY kit is often bought without the recipient beside you, the listing has to carry more weight than usual. We try to describe each kit plainly: what it is, what it is made of, what is included, how large the finished piece is where relevant, what travels inside the box, and whether tools or instructions are included.

Please study the photographs alongside the description. Props and additional pieces shown in a picture are included only when the description names them as part of the product. Colors can read slightly differently from screen to screen, and materials, colors, and kit contents may vary slightly by batch. Handmade assembly may also show minor differences. Those differences are often part of how such kits are made rather than a fault.

Please check the kit contents, skill level, included tools, and whether instructions are included before you order. If you are unsure whether a kit is suitable for the person who will use it, ask us before you order.
